AskStoryAI, also shown in the app as Story Telling, is an AI writing workspace for drafting, editing, illustrating, and publishing stories. AskStoryAI is operated by PlusMinds Inc. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can request deletion of your information.

Information We Collect

We collect account information you provide through sign-in providers, such as your name, email address, profile identifier, and authentication provider. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we use that provider only to authenticate your account.

We store the content you create in the app, including stories, chapters, story profiles, prompts, characters, relationships, uploaded images, generated images, published story metadata, support requests, and billing-related credit records.

We may collect technical information needed to operate the service, such as basic request metadata, browser/device information, analytics page views, error logs, and security logs.

How We Use Information

We use your information to provide the writing workspace, save your stories and settings, authenticate your account, process subscriptions and credit purchases, operate AI text and image generation, publish stories when you choose to publish them, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

AI Providers

When you request text or image generation, the relevant story content, prompts, character details, image references, and generation settings may be sent to the selected AI provider only as needed to complete that request.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers. We store billing state needed to manage subscriptions, credits, purchase history, and usage summaries.

Analytics And Marketing Measurement

We may use analytics and advertising measurement tools, including Firebase/Google Analytics and Meta Pixel, to understand traffic, measure marketing performance, improve the service, and build audiences for AskStoryAI marketing. These tools may receive technical identifiers, browser/device information, referrer information, and page-view or event information for public pages.

We do not intentionally send private story text, prompts, character data, payment card numbers, or private story/chapter identifiers to Meta Pixel.

Published Stories

Stories remain private unless you click Publish. Published stories and their public metadata can be viewed by anyone with the public link and may be indexed by search engines.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers only as needed to run the app, including hosting, authentication, payments, storage, analytics or logs, marketing measurement, and AI generation providers.

Retention

We retain account data and content while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain billing records.

Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account data by using the in-app Support menu or by following the instructions on the Data Deletion page. After verifying the request, we will delete or anonymize account data that we are not required to keep for legal, security, or billing reasons.

Children

AskStoryAI is not intended for children under 13. Do not use the service if you are not old enough to consent to online services in your location.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
